Conclusion

In our time as Library Interns we were able to accomplish many tasks which will benefit both the school and ourselves. On our previous blogs we have listed almost all of our accomplishments, but there are a few more.

During our time as Interns we were also taught how to catalog different genres of books by putting returned books back in their rightful spots. This specific task taught us organizational skills as well as the process of learning the correct location of the books.

We worked on various assignments together which taught us a useful skill to have, not just in a job but in real life, the skill of working and accomplishing together.

I, Destiny, was also able to recommend fellow students books that I thought they would enjoy based on previous reads. Where I am a  junior, I have had the chance to meet a lot of different students, teachers and staff over the years, plus my knowledge gained as being a regular in the library, I was able to graciously help some members of the school in deciding a book that they would enjoy to the fullest.

We do believe the Library Internship is a great opportunity for the students of Apponequet as it teaches a lot of skills that will be useful in our future.
And with this blog, our time as F period Library Interns for Semester 1 of 2019-2020 is complete.
